About Us
Willow Creek Snowmobile Club (WCSC) was formed in 2019 by a group of friends who wanted to secure the sport of snowmobiling for generations to come. We are firm believers that if you work hard you need to play hard and here in the Allegheny National Forest, we have the largest playground in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Our goal is to grow the sport of snowmobiling while supporting the Willow Creek and surrounding communities.
We are currently maintaining ANF Trail 1A from the state line to the Westline Inn. We also have several club trails which have developed in cooperation with several area businesses.
WCSC is now designated as a charitable organization under the IRS code as a registered 501(c)3 entity.
Our Equipment
The club currently has three pieces of grooming equipment. The first one is a Can Am Defender. This has been a workhorse for the club and was the solo machine for the first 3 years of the club's existence. While some doubted, this machine has been pushed above its limits. The Defender continues to be the most effective choice for tight trails and early season grooming.
We also have 2 Prinoth Husky, class A groomers. These machines were made in Italy, shipped to Canada, then to us in Bradford, PA. These machines are used to keep the base under control on dual use roads, as well as tackling the hilly terrain our trails encompass.
Each machine is accompanied by a hydraulic Arrowhead Groomers' drag. Manufactured in St. Germain, WI, the drag for the Defender is 6'x12', requiring two passes on most trails. The drag for the Huskies is 8.5'x20' and requires only one pass on most of the trails in our system which allows for more time effective grooming routes as we continue to grow our trail system.
